WHat our customers are saying
-
“We responded to a fire and couldn’t see the terrain in front of us or the fire off the side of the truck. With HyperSight, both showed up perfectly and we were able to continue down the line without circling around to regain our bearings every few minutes. It saved us valuable time and helped us get the fire knocked out faster.”
-Chief Bill Phillips of the Sharon FD -
"We have had several fires since installing the Hypersight camera system, and it has become instrumental in being able to stay in the burned area while approaching the head of the fire. Our drivers have noted that without the camera, due to smoke and soot, it would have been completely unsafe to navigate with the terrain and other units on scene."
- Fire Chief Cory Beagles, Deer Creek, OK Fire Department -
"...The crews on the unit were extremely impressed with the camera and stated it 100% saved them from at least one accident in zero visibility due to fire and smoke. Our other 4 units described “flying blind” through very bad conditions.
Due to the feedback we received from the crews our department decided to purchase cameras for all wildland units and command vehicles."

See through smoke
accident avoidance In the heat of battle knowing the location of ground crew near vehicles is critical. When enveloped in smoke this task becomes nearly impossible and many times the worst happens. In addition, just keeping a wildland vehicle in action is no easy task. Many brush trucks are knocked out of service by ravines, boulders, trees, not to mention other vehicles, that simply couldn't be seen. HyperSight erases smoke from the drivers' vision allowing them to navigate safely and avoid costly, even deadly accidents.
attack and escape HyperSight sees through smoke to know where the fire is...and where it isn't. This enhanced situational awareness helps direct the attack and enable the quickest escape when needed.

See the Heat
faster more efficient fire fighting Analyzing the situation quickly, directing the attack where most needed, and knocking down the fire as fast as possible without endangering lives is the goal. HyperSight makes this work easier by letting firefighters see the heat from the vehicle. The leading edge can be evaluated and areas of most concern worked first. Hot spots are detected and addressed faster reducing rekindles and additional work.

See the Dangers
fuel levels visualized Knowing how much fuel remains in a tank battery is valuable information. Firefighters can make decisions from a safe distance and develop a plan of action based on more information with HyperSight when fires threaten storage areas.
